| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes this competency in 3D creature animation. It is a specialised part of the animation process which involves bringing realistic (2 legged or 4 legged maybe more) animals and creature to life. It does not have illusion of thought, feeling and emotion. Creature animators create highly realistic motion in animals or creatures. Considerable effort was required by the animators to imagine how such a creature might perform and behave. The Creature animation also can be overlapped with the character animation. To add the entertainment value of the animation, the creature can have thought, feeling, emotion and even can speak like human being, but the traits, mechanism, as well as behaviour of the creature still similar as original creature or animal. The person who is competent in 3D creature animation shall be able to plan 3D creature animation requirement, identify traits of creature, carry out creature imitation acting, prepare scene layout, carry out creature animation blocking, movement detailing, creature facial expression and lip sync, implement visual effect element and review creature animation. The outcome of this competency is to give life so that it gives the illusion of a living animal delivered through acting and the understanding of animal mechanism. |
