| Penerangan CU | Pre tension cabling is a process of laying cable for the pre stress concrete. Compared to post tension, pre tension cables are tensioned before casting of concrete. The personnel who are involved in cabling works is responsible to check the number and position of cables to ensure the installation are per construction drawing. A competent cable installer shall be able to perform pre tension cabling work preparation, perform strand threading work and evaluate pre tension cabling works in accordance with Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia Act 1994 (Act 520) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). The outcome of this competency is to develop skill personnel in pre tension cabling works. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to install the cables properly as per foundation plan that would result to longer, thinner and greater degree of flexibility for each concrete span. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - • Perform pre tension cabling work preparation • Perform strand threading work • Evaluate pre tension cabling works |
