| Penerangan CU | The Costumes Maintaining and Repairing Competency Unit is to provide knowledge and skill for the Wardrobe Assistant to maintain and repair costumes so that the costumes are in good condition, last long and ready to be used. The Wardrobe Assistant is responsible to carry out washing / cleaning, ironing / steaming and various methods of repairing works manually and by machine as per repairing requirements, job order / work instructions and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to maintain costumes such as clean, wash, iron and steam and repair costumes as per repairing instructions / job order under the supervision of senior costume personnel. It includes fundamental sewing and costume maintaining techniques. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to: 1. Carry out garment washing / cleaning preparation. 2. Wash / clean costume /garments / fabrics / materials 3. Conduct garments / costumes Ironing / steaming. 4. Carry out garments / costumes repairing works. |
