Penerangan CUCommunication in itself is the activity of the conveying of information through thoughts, messages or information. Personal Communication Consultation is the assessment, advice and guidance in the effective use of communication as a means of conveying thoughts, messages or information via the use of speech, signals, visuals, body language/behaviour, voice intonation and enunciation in addition to writing on a personal level. The consultant advises clients in communication development such as communication interaction, non-verbal communication and press release writing in addition to other communication techniques to achieve the required media impact needed in accordance Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The person who is competent in personal communication consultation shall be able to analyse client’s profile, prepare client’s communication resources, coach clients in communication interaction and manage clients’ records. The outcome of this competency is to be an essential contributing factor towards a person’s professional image, compliant to the standards of Image Consultants’ practice.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide public image consultation to the clients. Its work to advise and guide clients in the proper manners of public relations communications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:

• prepare client's media resources
• coach client's in media interaction
• manage client's record
