| Penerangan CU | Pre chemical dosing and mixing operation describes the competency required to determine dosage of coagulating chemicals, control of dosage flow and mixing to produce flocs. Flocs are products of the coagulation process which contains particulate impurities. He/She has to conduct the Jar test to determine the best coagulant dosage. This process contributes to ensure the effectiveness of the next processes i.e. sedimentation, filtration and disinfection as well as overall plant performance. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare lab instrument for Jar test, conduct Jar test, determine process flow rate, carry out chemical dosing and conduct corrective action The outcome of this competency is to ensure accurate formation of flocs through optimum coagulant chemical dosage during the coagulation and flocculation process in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU should be able to conduct the Jar Test to determine dosage of coagulating chemicals, control dosage flow and conduct mixing to produce flocs. The outcome of this competency is to ensure accurate formation of flocs through optimum coagulant chemical dosage during the coagulation and flocculation process in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
