| Penerangan CU | Industrial Gas Emission Wet Control Operation describes the competencies required to operate the various types of industrial gas emission wet control systems. Examples of these systems are wet scrubber and wet electrostatic precipitator. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to interpret job instructions, inspect system prior to start-up, rectify minor abnormalities, start-up system, collect system performance data, rectify minor abnormalities and shut down system. The outcome of this competency is efficient and sustainable operation of the gas emission wet control system. This will significantly reduce the emission of air contaminants to the atmosphere in compliance with environmental regulation on allowable emission limit. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU should be able to operate industrial gas emission wet control systems such as wet scrubber. The outcome of this competency is efficient and sustainable operation of the gas emission wet control system which will significantly reduce the emission of air contaminants to the atmosphere in compliance with environmental regulation on allowable emission limit. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:- Interpret job instructions for industrial gas emission wet control operation Inspect industrial gas emission wet control system prior to start-up Rectify minor abnormalities after pre start-up inspection Start-up industrial gas emission wet control system Collect system performance data Rectify minor abnormalities after performance data collection Shut down industrial gas emission wet control system |
