| Penerangan CU | Perform BEV Electric Drive Train System Rectification is the activities for the electric drive system replacement. From this activity the personnel will be expose to the procedure on how to diagnose, inspect, replace faulty unit in accordance with manufacturer’s service manual as well as to understand on the safety, health and environment requirement as per OSHA 1994 and EQA 1974. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out electric drive train system rectification workplace preparation, carry out inverter unit replacement, carry out BEV traction motor replacement, carry out motorised transaxle servicing and carry out BEV integrated brake control system servicing. The outcome of this CU is able to define and demonstrate the process flow for the drive train delivering power from the battery to the wheels, also helps to keep the motor running at its most efficient speed in accordance with manufacturer service manual. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to deliver an appropriate BEV diagnostic and component replacement as planned, ensure the vehicle in good & safe operating condition and avoid electrical hazards to the trainee in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the layout drawings. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Carry out electric drive train system rectification workplace preparation. 2. Carry out BEV inverter unit replacement. 3. Carry out BEV traction motor replacement. 4. Carry out BEV motorised transaxle servicing. 5. Carry out BEV integrated brake control system replacement. |
