| Penerangan CU | Automotive body spray painting is a process in painting activities which are starting from primer, moist sand, masking and Top Coat activities to complete body with colour requirement as per company quality standard. Body spray painting operation was important in order to be able to look good after being left in the sun for days and driven through dust or hailstorms, hence, able to maintain its esthetical value. The person who is competent in body spray operation shall be able to prepare tools and equipment requirement, carry out primer coating process, moist sanding process, apply masking tape for painting process, Top Coat process and carry out body spray painting finishing activities. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent personnel in body spray painting operation process to meet quality specification, lead time and comply with safety precaution |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in automotive body spray painting operation shall be able to perform painting activities which is starting from primer, moist sand, masking and top coat activities to complete body with colour requirement as per company quality standard. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- - Prepare material and tools requirement for painting process - Carry out primer coating process - Carry out moist sanding process - Apply masking tape for painting process - Carry out Top Coat process - Carry out body spray painting finishing work |
