| Penerangan CU | Engine plays very important role to power a motorcycle. It drives the rear wheel, while power is sent to the driven wheel by belt, chain or shaft. Engine capacities typically ranges from about 50 cc to 1,000 cc. Motorcycle engine assembly is a process to put together Crankcase Assembly, Crankcase Cover Assembly, Housing Clutch Assembly, Crankshaft Assembly, Rotor Assembly, Head Cylinder Assembly, Body Cylinder Assembly and Piston Assembly which are the components of the engine. The assembly process is done using machine and equipment within the assembly line of motorcycle factory. During the assembly process, occupational safety and health standard is complied. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare motorcycle engine assembly tools, equipment and materials, perform crankcase assembly installation, perform main engine assembly, perform Gear assembly, perform electrical component assembly and perform engine assembly testing in accordance with engine installation manual. The outcome of this competency is to produce a completed motorcycle engine that is ready to be installed into motorcycle frame in accordance with production specification and comply with regulatory body requirements |
