| Penerangan CU | Metal coating is a process to coat motorcycle metal parts surface with Electrolysis Deposition (ED) coating. Removal of oil, soil, lubrication greases, and metal oxides is essential prior to the coating process. It can be done through treatment process which both cleans and improves bonding of the paint to the metal. The execution of motorcycle metal part coating is done by the machine with close monitoring and coordination of painting operation personnel. The person who is competent in Motorcycle Metal Parts Coating shall be able to prepare motorcycle metal parts coating tools, equipment, materials and metal parts, carry out motorcycle metal parts treatment and carry out metal parts Electrolysis Deposition (ED) coating in accordance with motorcycle painting SOP. In addition, the person should also comply with occupation safety and health standard in accordance with regulatory body requirement. The outcome of this competency is to improve motorcycle metal part surface properties in term of appearance, adhesion, wetability, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in motorcycle coating shall be able to coat the metal parts of motorcycle with Electrolysis Deposition (ED) to give much better corrosion resistance for every surface even the hidden area can be coated.
