| Penerangan CU | Interface Engineering Management competency unit is to facilitate agreements with other authorised / responsible personnel / disciplines regarding the information and identification of critical interfaces required for the design. The overall goal is the early identification of issues with potential for impact to the final piping design which includes the engineering drawings, specifications, design reports and calculations, equipment details, project schedule information and other related matters. Piping Design Manager is responsible to study the interfacing engineering design requirements , coordinate with respective responsible personnel as to establish corporation and manage the interface process such as identification and recording an interface, creating an interface agreement, agreeing / resolving conflict, and closing the interface agreement so as to ensure the respective required changes can be incorporated / accommodated into the design and later formal documentation is updated in accordance with client / design specification, International Code and Standard, industrial practice and Company Operating Procedure (COP). The outcome of this competency unit is to assure the inclusion of other disciplines requirements are accommodated, coordinated and updated as needs arise. |
