| Penerangan CU | Pipe Spool Drawing Development competency unit is to provide piping construction drawing guidance to the piping fabricator with the reference of consultant ISO metric drawing. A pipe is separated into different sections, called spools. These spools connect at various junctures throughout any given line showing P&ID. The nature of these connections rather than one continuous line is to make fabrication easier and to erect the pipe as per design (consultant isometric) Piping Designer is responsible to analyse spool drawing variable descriptions, number of spools, cut length of pipes, location of weld, weld size, weld numbering and other related requirements as well as to estimate spool weight in order to produce spool drawing for piping fabrication in accordance with piping design specification and Company Operating Procedure (COP). The outcome is to assure pipe spool drawing is produce in accordance with standard operating procedures and client requirements. |
