| Penerangan CU | Pipe Support Design competency unit is to design a device to carry the weight of the pipe, any in-line equipment and the material in the pipe over a defined span. The design should deliberate the functions of a pipe support as to guide, anchor, absorb shock and support a specified load. The overall design configuration of a pipe support assembly is dependent on the loading and operating conditions as per pipe support specification requirements. Piping Designer is responsible to analyse type of support and its required specification, plan the design to anticipate stress analysis data findings, as well as to accommodate ease of maintenance and installation as well as the accuracy of specification in order to produce the drawing using tools and facilities in accordance with International Standard and industrial practice and Company Operating Procedure (COP) The outcome of this competency unit is to produce pipe support drawing in accordance specification requirements. |
