| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in Gamma Ray sterilization operation. He or she is responsible to be able to provide excellent service by performing Gamma Ray irradiation operation process that demonstrates the viability and ensure product being irradiated and physical confirmation conducted so that specifications and customer dose requested have been met. Ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the final product meets its labelling claims of Gamma Ray. The competency requires ability to know the complete cycle for irradiation sterilization operation requirements to organize non-sterile product scheduled for Gamma Ray sterilization, prepare irradiator and auxiliary equipment for Gamma Ray sterilization, perform scheduled product loading, perform Gamma Ray sterilization process, perform sterile product unloading, and record Gamma Ray sterilization process. The outcome of this competency is to provide excellent radiation sterilization operation services to ensure preparation and loading non-sterile product conducted, irradiation operation performed, sterile product unloaded, recorded and feedback report on irradiation operation process generated and prompt action taken according to Industry Standards and regulatory requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able provide excellent service by performing Gamma Ray irradiation operation process that demonstrates the viability and ensure product radiated and physical confirmation conducted so that specifications and customer Dose requested have been met. Ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the final product meets its labelling claims of Gamma Ray and ensure customer satisfaction guaranteed and prompt action taken according to Industry Standards, regulatory requirements and technical specification. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Organize non-sterile product scheduled for sterilization. 2. Prepare irradiator and auxiliary equipment for Gamma Ray sterilization. 3. Perform scheduled non-sterile product loading. 4. Perform Gamma Ray sterilization process. 5. Perform sterile product unloading. 6. Record Gamma Ray sterilization process. |
