The person who is competent in this CU should be able to set up pressure transducer, calibrate pressure transducer, perform continuous pressure monitoring, and perform pressure transducer maintenance and care. The outcome of this CU is competent use of pressure transducer to monitor patient’s pressure during cardiac surgery in compliance with institutional protocol and safety requirements. |
