| Penerangan CU | Superfluous Hair Lightening describes the competency to lighten superfluous hair including preparing themselves, the client and work area, using suitable consultation techniques and maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout their work. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to carry out superfluous hair lightening consultation, carry out superfluous hair lightening patch test, carry out superfluous hair lightening preparation, carry out superfluous hair lightening, carry out post superfluous hair lightening advice and upkeep superfluous hair lightening work area. The outcomes of this CU is to assess the client’s need and lighten superfluous hair by using chemical substances. It requires skills and knowledge to prepare the client, perform superfluous hair lightening and provide aftercare advice. Knowledge of skin and hair growth systems, relevant legislation and workplace policies and procedures, particularly in regard to safety and hygiene, are also required. |
