| Penerangan CU | Apparel production time and motion study is a business efficiency techniques combining The Time Study work of Frederick Winslow with the Motion Study work of Frank and Lillian Gilbreath. It is a major part of scientific management. Time study developed in the direction of establishing standard times, while motion study involved into a techniques for improving work methods. The two techniques became integrated and refined into a widely accepted method applicable to the improvement and upgrading of work systems. This integrated approach to work system improvement is known as methods engineering and it is applied today to industrial as well as service organizations. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to plan and perform time and motion study activities in accordance with company requirements. The outcome of this competency is to provide production planner in achieving rational and reasonable result by conducting actual timing, improving work procedure and defining standard time in accordance with specific method. |
