| Penerangan CU | The engineering survey describes the science and art of making essential measurements to determine the relative position of points or physical and cultural details above, on, or beneath the surface of the earth. Engineering surveying involves determining the position of natural and man-made features on or beneath the Earth's surface and utilizing these features in the planning, design and construction of works. It is a critical part of any engineering project. Without an accurate understanding of the size, shape and nature of the site the project risks expensive and time-consuming errors or even catastrophic failure. This person is responsible to gathering information through observations, measurements, calculation, setting out all of the proposal infrastructures and the buildings. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify engineering survey requirement, prepare engineering survey tools and equipment, carry out horizontal and vertical control survey, carry out engineering survey, downloading and process data and produce final plan The outcome of this competency is to provide and project data (mapping in hard copy and soft copy) to be used by building consultants, constructions engineers and architects to design, plan and propose. Final alignment setting out of the infrastructures and building by request from client. |
