| Penerangan CU | The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft system maintenance is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 28 (Fuel) - Chapter 29 (Hydraulic ) - Chapter 36 (Pneumatic) - Chapter 37 (Vacuum) - Chapter 38 (Water and Waste) Aircraft system maintenance is to maintain aircraft system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies. The personnel who are competent in aircraft system maintenance shall be able to identify, plan, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, modify, test, overhaul, record and certify systems to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | Aircraft system maintenance is to maintain aircraft system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies. The personnel who are competent in aircraft system maintenance shall be able to:- • Study the principle and theory of aircraft system maintenance • Identify aircraft system components • Plan aircraft system maintenance activities • Inspect aircraft system component • Replace aircraft system component • Test aircraft system component • Repair aircraft system component • Troubleshoot aircraft system component • Modify aircraft system component • Overhaul aircraft system • Record aircraft system maintenance activities |
