| Penerangan CU | The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft structure system maintenance is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 51 (Standard Practices and Structures - General) - Chapter 52 (Doors) - Chapter 53 (Fuselage) - Chapter 54 (Nacelle / pylon) - Chapter 55 (Stabilizers) - Chapter 56 (Windows) - Chapter 57 (Wings) Aircraft structure system maintenance is to maintain aircraft structure system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies. The personnel who are competent in aircraft structure system maintenance shall be able to identify, plan, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, modify, test, overhaul, record and certify structure systems to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | Aircraft structure maintenance is to maintain aircraft structure system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies. The personnel who are competent in aircraft structure maintenance shall be able to:- • Study the principle and theory of aircraft structure maintenance • Identify aircraft structure system components • Plan aircraft structure system maintenance activities • Inspect aircraft structure system component • Replace aircraft structure system component • Test aircraft structure system component • Repair aircraft structure system component • Troubleshoot aircraft structure system component • Modify aircraft structure system component • Overhaul aircraft structure system • Record aircraft structure maintenance activities |
