| Penerangan CU | Emergency situation respond operation is a responds to emergency and high-risk situations that occur at VTS area. The type and scale of the emergency is identified and appropriate contingency plans are taken and activated. The person who is competent in emergency situation respond operation shall be able to receive emergency report, establish scale of emergency and coordinate emergency response The outcome of this competency is to verify the related actions undertaken ensure the protection of the VTS area and, as far as practicable, maintain a safe flow of marine traffic. The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- Knowledge of related national and international regulations concerning distress, pollution prevention and special circumstances. |
