| Penerangan CU | Aircraft radio and electronic system servicing is to maintain aircraft radio and electronic system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft radio and electronic system servicing is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 23 (Communication) - Chapter 34 (Navigation) - Chapter 44 (Cabin System) The personnel who are competent in aircraft radio and electronic system servicing shall be able to identify radio and electronic system servicing requirement, prepare tools, equipment and materials, remove aircraft radio and electronic component and install aircraft radio and electronic component to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description |
