| Penerangan CU | Aircraft structure system servicing is to maintain aircraft structure system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft structure system servicing is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 51 (Standard Practices and Structures - General) - Chapter 52 (Doors) - Chapter 53 (Fuselage) - Chapter 54 (Nacelle / pylon) - Chapter 55 (Stabilizers) - Chapter 56 (Windows) - Chapter 57 (Wings) The personnel who are competent in aircraft structure system servicing shall be able to identify structure system servicing requirement, prepare tools, equipment and materials, remove aircraft structure component and install aircraft structure component to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description |
