| Penerangan CU | Aircraft airframe system servicing is to maintain aircraft airframe system in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft airframe system servicing is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 20 (Standard Practices) - Chapter 21 (Air-conditioning/ pressurization) - Chapter 25 (Equipment & Furnishing) - Chapter 26 (Fire Protection) - Chapter 27 (Flight Controls) - Chapter 30 (Ice & Rain Protection) - Chapter 32 (Landing Gears) - Chapter 67 (Rotor Flight Control) The personnel who are competent in aircraft airframe system servicing shall be able to identify airframe system servicing requirement, prepare tools, equipment and materials, remove aircraft airframe component and install aircraft airframe component to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description |
