The person who is competent in Berth Operation Planning shall be able to identify shipping agent instruction on berthing requirements, check berthing requirement with agreed Performa, allocate equipment, manpower and berthing allocation, coordinate with yard planning to optimum berth allocation, coordinate technical or maintenance department on the equipment, fresh water and bunkering supply for ship, prepare berth schedule or line up, check prepared schedule and distribute berth schedule to internal and external customer The outcome of this competency is to enable the ship berthed at the allocated optimum berth mark and operation activities carried smoothly and efficiently according to the shipping agent instruction and terminal requirement. |
