| Penerangan CU | This liquid bulk cargo operation is the activities in cargo operation involving transfer of cargo in liquid form; The liquid bulk cargo is grouped into commodity, petroleum and chemical substances that are transported in large quantities. This cargo is normally transferred via pipe lines to tankers or shore tanks. The operations of transferring this cargo are classified as critical operations where related parties involved need to comply with safe handling procedures. The person who is competent in liquid bulk cargo operation shall be able to identify cargo liquid bulk instruction and charter party requirements, carry out ship pre arrival requirements, prepare for loading and discharging for liquid bulk cargo operations, ensure safety precaution prior & during cargo operations, carry out ship pre departure requirement, prepare for ship departure and maintain liquid cargo documentation The outcome of this competency is to transfer of cargo in liquid to enable/achieve successful process with free oil spill, incident; liquid quantity confirmed and complies with liquid safe handling procedures |
