| Penerangan CU | Horse corrective / therapeutic shoeing is to make or alter ready-made horse shoe so that it can function as a corrective or therapeutic solution for lameness of the horse hoof. The person who is competent in horse corrective / therapeutic shoeing will be able to obtain horse information, determine types of suitable corrective and therapeutic shoes, prepare corrective and therapeutic shoes, perform nailing, clinching and finishing process and observe horse movement according to veterinary recommendation and safety rules and regulation. The outcome of this competency is the ability to make a shoe that can correct or heal horse hoof defect, diseases or lameness. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to make or alter ready-made horse shoe so that it can functioning as a corrective or therapeutic for lameness of the horse hoof. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Evaluate horse information • Determine types of suitable corrective and therapeutic shoes • Prepare corrective and therapeutic shoes • Perform nailing, clinching and finishing process • Observe horse gait movement |
