| Penerangan CU | Horse handling and observation is to ensure the right approaching technique is used to avoid any dangers from the horse. The person in charge should handle the horse carefully in any activities performed and make sure it’s tie up well. Safety equipment such as helmet and safety boots should be used for protection from any injuries. Horse then are to be observed for its gait movement to identify if there are any problems occurred to its feet. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to obtain horse information, observe horse behaviour, approach and handle horse, install head collar and confirm horse gait movement. The outcome of this competency is to ensure safety to both horse and the operator in any activities performed. Horse handling activities are carried out according to horse handling requirement. Observation done to the horse’s gait movement shall reveal either there is a problem to the horse’s feet or not. |
