| Penerangan CU | Farriery workshop practices offer learners the opportunity to gain an understanding of farriery work through practical application. This is achieved through the completion of a sequence of practical experiences and the application of knowledge gained through standard workshop procedures and routines. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to enforce workshop safety rules and regulation, handle emergency situation, apply first aid treatment to human, apply first aid treatment to horses, handle and maintain hand tools, handle and maintain welding tools and equipment and handle and maintain power and pneumatic tools. The outcome of this competency is to provide appropriate tools and equipment handling, safe workshop practices and compliance to Department of Safety and Health rules and regulation. |
