| Penerangan CU | atik silk screen is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A fill blade or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink into the mesh openings for transfer by capillary action during the squeegee stroke. Basically, it is the process of using a stencil to apply ink onto another material. Proper usage of tools and equipment is needed during performing the task to ensure high quality of work performance. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify batik silk screen design specifications, prepare materials, wax, colour, colour fixation, tools and equipment, produce batik silk screen, carry out finishing activities, quality inspection and product packing activities in accordance with batik silk screen design specifications. The outcome of this competency is to produce batik silk screen product in accordance with customer requirements. |
