| Penerangan CU | Production quality control supervision is a competency of planning, organizing, leading and controlling of all resources to achieve all production quality control objectives in accordance with customer and or organization standard & requirements. (Japan International Standard, American Foundry Society, British Standards, ASTMD7765, MS303, MS505 are among the popular standard used) Effective production quality control supervision is important as the function is directly affects the quality of outgoing products. The person who is competent in production quality control will be able to perform production quality control planning, perform production quality control resources allocation, perform production quality control operation briefing, monitor production quality control operation, establish production quality control performance status, and handle production quality control performance problem in accordance with organizations and or customer requirements. An effective production quality control supervisor should be able to plan, organize, lead and control the production team to accomplish all assigned tasks and achieve the specified objectives as required by the organization. He should ensure that all resources are correctly allocated and team members leaded toward goals achievement. His performance should be measured based on the pre-determined measurable objective assigned at the beginning of the performance appraisal period. In order to reach the production quality control objectives, the supervisor lead his team in conducting quality control process by resolving production issues derived from the in-process experiences and quality test result. Ensuring the quality test using an approved techniques, taking the right sampling method to produce a reliable quality test result. Understanding the process and quality behavior by analyzing current and historical quality test data using an approved quantitative and qualitative rules. The effectiveness of the quality test function can be measured on the rate of field service or returned finished product. The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically. |
