| Penerangan CU | Production Heat treatment supervision is a competency of planning, organizing, leading and controlling of all resources to achieve all Heat Treatment operation objectives in accordance with customer and or organization standard & requirements. (Japan International Standard, American Foundry Society, British Standards, ASTMD7765, MS303, MS505 are among the popular standard used) Effective supervision is important as the production Heat treatment affects directly on production process and foundry end product result. The person who is competent in production Heat Treatment supervision will be able to perform Heat Treatment operation planning, Perform Heat Treatment operation resources allocation, perform operation briefing, monitor Heat Treatment operation, establish production Heat Treatment performance status, and handle Heat Treatment operation performance problem in accordance with organizations and or customer requirements. An effective production Heat treatment supervisor should be able to plan, organize, lead and control the production team to accomplish all assigned tasks and achieve the specified objectives as required by the organization. He should ensure that all resources are correctly allocated and team members leaded toward goals achievement. His performance should be measured based on the pre-determined measurable objective assigned at the beginning of the performance appraisal period. In order to reach the production Heat Treatment objectives, the supervisor lead his team in heat treatment furnace and heating process to reach the required heating chambers temperature, at the specified conveyor speed, with all other specified related setting, product batching and tagging process with accurate identification number and tagging data, arranged in the specified sequence, Heat Treatment process implementation following specified procedure and techniques, conducting product inspection to ensure quality standard compliance and ensuring the targeted Heat Treatment end product acceptance level within a specified time frame. The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically. |
