| Penerangan CU | The engine cooling system troubleshoot and repairing is a scope of competency to examine and repair engine cooling system and prevent engine from overheating The person whom is competent in engine cooling system troubleshoot and repairing must be able to, carry out engine cooling system inspections activities, repair/service radiator, repair/replace radiator expansion tank and related component, replace faulty thermostat, replace faulty water pump, replace leakage water jacket, repair engine oil cooler, replace temperature gauge, adjust belt tension or replace damaged belt or fan, carry out cooling system troubleshooting activities, carry out housekeeping activities and prepare checklist and service report The outcome of this competency is to provide high standard engine cooling system components to ensure efficiency of the cooling system. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this cu shall be able to carry out engine cooling system troubleshoot and repairing in compliance with service manual and adhere to workshop practices to meet workshop safety and health regulation. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- Carry out engine cooling system inspections activities Repair/service radiator Repair/replace radiator expansion tank and related component Replace faulty thermostat Replace faulty water pump Replace leakage water jacket Repair engine oil cooler Replace temperature gauge Adjust belt tension or replace damaged belt or fan Carry out housekeeping activities Prepare checklist and service report |
