| Penerangan CU | Engine and transmission sub assembly is a scope of competency to assemble and install engine and transmission components in accordance with vehicle manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The person whom is competent in engine and transmission component installation must be able to install clutch plate, clutch bearing and pressure plate (MT), install drive plate (AT), install engine & transmission combination, install starter motor, install alternator, install front / rear bracket roll mounting, install radiator, bypass, vacuum and AT hose, install lower arm, brake knuckle, brake calliper and drive shaft and install steering gear linkage in accordance with installation specification. The outcome of this competency is to properly assemble the components to ensure the installation quality of engine and transmission components is in accordance with self check awareness, manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assemble and install engine and transmission components in accordance with vehicle manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Install clutch plate, clutch bearing and pressure plate (M/T) • Install drive plate (A/T) • Install engine & transmission combination • Install starter motor • Install alternator • Install engine control harness • Install front / rear bracket roll mounting • Install bypass hose, brake vacuum hose and A/T cooler hose • Install lower arm, brake knuckle, brake calliper and drive shaft • Install steering gear linkage |
