| Penerangan CU | Engine cylinder head assembly is a scope of competency to assemble and install engine cylinder head components in accordance with self-check awareness, vehicle manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The person whom is competent in engine cylinder head assembly must be able to install dowel pin to cam shaft (exhaust and intake), install cam shaft, install valve guide to cylinder head, install inlet and outlet valve end into cylinder head, install oil gallery plug tapper, install spark plug, install Variable Valve Timing (VVT) component, install cam angle sensor and oil control valve and install cam cover to cylinder head in accordance with installation specification. The outcome of this competency is to properly assemble the components to ensure the assembly of cylinder head is in accordance with self-check awareness, vehicle manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assemble and install engine cylinder head components in accordance with self-check awareness, vehicle manufacturing specification and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Install dowel pin to cam shaft (exhaust and intake) • Install cam shaft • Install valve guide to cylinder head • Insert intake and exhaust valve into cylinder head • Install oil gallery plug tapper • Install spark plug • Install Variable Valve Timing (VVT) sprocket • Install cam angle sensor and oil control valve |
