| Penerangan CU | Utilities system start-up and shut-down preparation is one of the many activities in the offshore location. Utilities System shutdown is usually cause by the malfunction of critical component of Utilities System equipment. Fire and gas leak detection can cause Utilities System shutdown. NO preparation is required at the above shutdown Planned Utilities System shutdown (Preparation is required). This activity is for major modification work that cannot be carried out while the process is on line. After all the above is completed preparation is made for the Utilities System Start Up. The person who is competent is this CU should be able to identify utilities start-up or shutdown requirements, perform preparation for utilities system start-up and perform preparation for utilities system shut-down. The outcome of this competency is to demonstrate the competencies required in assisting terminal planned maintenance programme with shutdowns, isolations, de-isolations and start-ups activities The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- - Personnel, Equipments & Workplaces Safety, Health & Environment Assurances |
