| Penerangan CU | Upholstery prototype preparation is a process in assuring upholstery product specification meet production specification in determining the materials, colour, packing and dimension of the product to meet customer’s satisfaction. These include machine preparation, material preparation, scheduling preparation and product sampling prototype. The scope of competency requires frame fabrication, product sewing, materials assembling and product compliances assurances. The person who is competent in upholstery prototype preparation shall be able to prepare upholstery prototype specification, prepare upholstery tools, machines, fixtures and equipment, prepare upholstery materials, produce upholstery prototype sampling and perform upholstery production workplace cleaning in accordance with product specification. The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure smooth production process with zero defects and production wastage thus enhancing productivity. |
