| Penerangan CU | Safety instrumented system planning and design consists of an engineered set of hardware and software controls which are especially used on critical process systems. A critical process system can be identified as one which, once running and an operational problem occurs, the system may need to be put into a "Safe State" to avoid adverse Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) consequences. The person who is competent in safety instrumented system planning and design shall be able to analyse instrumented system process flow design, perform instrument risk assessment, develop SRS, design safety instrumented system, manage safety instrumented system installation and maintain safety instrumented system performance in compliance with IEC 61511 Safety Instrumented System in the process industry and ANSI standard requirement. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the installation of safety instrumented system is handled in compliance with company / organisation and regulatory body requirement. |
