| Penerangan CU | Final Control Element (FCE) is the normally the last valve out (LVO) in the control loop and critical to process operations. It controls all the last stage of the process equipment as per process requirements. FCE is to control the level, pressure, temperature and flow of the medium being measured in a process loop. The main function of the FCE is to control the output of the content in the respective vessel or equipment. This FCE has maintenance requirements to ensure that it is working within operational parameters set to avoid malfunction or system upset. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify final control elements maintenance requirements, perform final control elements visual and physical inspection, perform final control elements routine service, perform final control elements functionality test and prepare maintenance report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the plant is operated smoothly and reduce unnecessary process upset or shutdown. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The trainee who is competent in this CU shall be able to repair, service and upkeep final control elements final control elements according to company standard operating procedure to ensure efficiency of equipment at all times. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Identify final control elements maintenance requirements. 2. Perform final control elements visual and physical inspection. 3. Perform final control elements routine electrical service. 4. Perform final control elements functionality test. 5. Report maintenance activities and findings. |
