| Penerangan CU | Finishing refers to all the activities that are performed on printed material after printing and it also refers to specialized decorative processes. There are four types of finishing operation involves in post press, which are laminating, embossing, UV coating and varnishing. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to identify finishing requirements, set up finishing machine, trial run based on dummy and carry out finishing operation. The outcome of this competency unit is to make sure the finishing process was handled with care and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) |
