There are several types of binding, such as loose leaf binding, padding, tape binding, velo binding, paperback, screw post files and also fastener binding. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to identify job requirements, prepare printed, binding and raw materials, set up binding machine, trial run based on dummy and carry out binding operation. The outcome of this competency unit is to make sure the binding product produced in accordance to job specification and compliance with rules and safety procedures. |
