| Penerangan CU | Post Press Stitching Operation means, its binding pages together by driving staples though the centrefold of a signature or group of signatures. The type of stitch used depends upon the thickness of the book. The objective of stitching is to fasten together sheets, signatures or sections with wire staples by round stitching wire by two methods, saddle stitching and side stitching. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to prepare stitching materials, set up stitching machine, trial run based on dummy and carry out stitching operation. |
