| Penerangan CU | Post Press Sewing Operation is the tasks of sewing signatures by machine, in which printed signatures are stitched together by means of a needle and thread. It can be performed by hand or by special sewing machines which run the thread through drilled holes. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to prepare sewing materials, set up sewing machine, trial run based on dummy and carry out sewing operation. The outcome of this competency unit is to produce book block in accordance with safety regulations. |
