| Penerangan CU | Line coating works inspection is the quality control process of ensuring that the line coating applied complies with international coating standards and client requirements. Lining coating is a coating system that uses fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) and polypropylene to produce high performance corrosion protection for pipelines. This CU covers the roles of the coating inspector in determining the readiness for commencement of lining coating operation as well as in verifying the compliance of the coating application and quality with the specified standards. The person who is competent in this CU will be able to identify line coating works inspection requirements, check environmental condition, check line coating operator competencies certification, verify HSE compliance, determine status for commencement of line coating work activities, monitor line coating activities and conduct WFT and DFT inspection. The outcome of this competency is to determine the readiness for line coating operation and to ensure compliance of line coating works with international blasting & coating standards and client requirements |
