| Penerangan CU | Mechanical transmission system servicing describes the competencies required to maintain the components of the system. Transmission system is an assembly of parts including the gear box and drive shafts by which power is transmitted from a prime mover to the driven. The person who is competent in this CU will be able to identify mechanical transmission system servicing requirements, perform visual inspection on mechanical transmission system components, perform transmission system components servicing and update maintenance logbook. The outcome of this competency is a well maintained transmission system and minimising of unnecessary downtime. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to inspect and ensure that blasting & coating materials received are in accordance with Approved Procedure. Perform visual inspection on mechanical transmission system components 3. Perform mechanical transmission system components maintenance. 4. Update maintenance logbook |
