| Penerangan CU | Pressure relieving devices servicing describes the competencies required to service pressure reliving valves (commonly used in oil line) and pressure safety values (commonly used in gas line and compressed air line). These devices require regular servicing and replacement due to wear and tear. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify pressure relieving devices servicing requirements, perform visual inspection on pressure relieving devices, perform pressure relieving devices servicing and update maintenance logbook. The outcome of this competency is to ensure optimum condition of pressure relieving devices, hence preventing over pressuring and explosion which will cause damage to equipment and threaten life. |
