| Penerangan CU | Motorboat propulsion system alignment work is a competency required to carry out on a gradual basis especially realignment between shaft and gearbox for motorboat engine system performance enhancement. The person who is competent in this work shall be able to identify type of propulsion system, identify standard and special tools, identify alignment methods, perform alignment work during lightship condition, test alignment setting and tolerance, perform realignment work during full load condition, perform boat trial and upkeep alignment work report. The outcome of this competency is to provide good propulsion system and engine performance is in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications besides complying with SOP, Safety Procedure, ISO and IMO standards if necessary. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform motorboat propulsion system alignment effectively using proper tools and alignment method according to standard operating procedure.
