| Penerangan CU | The heating element is incorporated in the pipeline and vessel for location which produce waxy crude oil. Thus, the heater is used to heat the pipeline to reduce the viscosity of the waxy crude oil. This will ensure the smooth flow of the waxy crude oil. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify electrical heating system maintenance requirements, perform electrical heating system functionality check and report activities /findings/ defect/damage parts identified to person-in-charge The outcome of this competency is to service and upkeep electrical heating system according to company standard operating procedure to avoid clogging up of the pipeline/flowline. The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- QHSE requirements compliance |
