| Penerangan CU | Measuring instruments include pressure gauge, level, pressure, temperature, flow and vibration switches. These measuring instruments or components are mounted on the equipment. These instruments will measure and monitor the dedicated functions of the equipment. The measuring instruments must be maintained in order to avoid system malfunction and upset to the production process. Level control for example is critical to process operation can cause environmental impact such as overflowing. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify measuring instrument maintenance requirements, perform measuring instrument visual and physical inspection, perform measuring equipment routine service, perform measuring equipment functionality check and prepare maintenance report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all components of equipment are functioning according to set operational requirements and continuous production operation. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The trainee who is competent in this CU shall be able to repair, service and upkeep measuring instruments according to company standard operating procedure to ensure efficiency and minimum downtime of devices. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Identify measuring instruments maintenance requirements. 2. Perform measuring instruments visual and physical inspection. 3. Perform measuring instruments routine service. 4. Perform measuring instruments functionality test. 5. Prepare maintenance report. |
