| Penerangan CU | Vendor management is describing the process of finding, qualifying and doing business with vendors. Common activities include researching vendors, negotiating contracts, obtaining quotes, evaluating performance, creating and updating vendor files, and ensuring that payments are made properly in accordance with establishment’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), establishment’s policy, Local Authority and Governing Act. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able identify vendor management requirements, manage vendor selection, monitor vendor performance and evaluate vendor management effectiveness. The outcome of this competency is to optimally develop, manage and control vendor contracts, relationships and performance for the efficient delivery of contracted products and services. Establishment can meet business objectives, minimize potential business disruption, avoid deal and delivery failure, and ensure more-sustainable multi-sourcing, while driving the most value from vendors. |
